This is a 14 inches (35.56cm) wide X 1.5yards lengths piece of light-weight qood quality Japanese kimono cotton;Fabric is from the 1980's and is deadstock -- meaning unsold stock from a previous time but in basically new condition.

Colors are predominantly indigo with dark to colonial blues in a motif which looks like various thatchwork patterns overlaying each other.

Fabric was initially intended for making a woman's yukata (summer or bath kimono) but suitable for quilting as well as other creative projects.
