This is a 1970's light-weight deadstock silk blend -- mostly silk with some synthetics;( deadstock means new but unsold stock from earlier time); It appears as if the fabric was manufactured to a point and then the final layers (of designs in the white shapes, etc.) were not added for whatever reason; Great for our fabric artists in that there are white areas free of designs -- ideal for fabric art; Motif is simple classic one of daffodils (though we thought it might be maple leaves as well) on red background. Fabric still strong, like new, some drape. Condition: EXCELLENT, Like new.
