We are offering this fabric in minimum 14 inch X 1.5 yard (35.6cm X 1.37m) long pieces of light weight deadstock cotton (new but unsold stock) estimated from the 1960's; This cotton's design is overlain layered grids of indigo mesh shape (foreground) overlaying brick-wall design (background) done in indigo blue, dark colonial gray and white; upon close inspection the effect is sort of 3-D effect. This is a cotton originally was intended to be used to make summer kimono (called a yukata); Fabric is strong, like new, still firm; colors have not faded, looks as if it was made yesterday. Recommended for quilters or any variety of creative applications.
