This is a 1980's light-weight deadstock silk ( new but unsold stock); originally intended for use in making a lady's under-kimono (nagajuban); fabric is a very light shade of peach (We could not quite capture this one well in smaller internet sized digital file, yl). [Tech Note: We intentionally underexposed all the close-ups except the one -- immediately below, right -- with the rulers showing measurement, the better to capture the interwoven designs.] Fabric is soft and has a nice drape; stripes and classical traditional designs are all done by interweaving. Fabric still strong, like new, nice drape. Design is intended for use on one side, but reverse shows same design just in relief. Recommended for a variety of creative applications, scarf, garment or accessory-making. Condition: EXCELLENT, Like new.
