“And a grand time was had by all…”, back from Brooklyn

Quick note to thank all of you who came out to see us at the magnificent Brooklyn Botanic Garden(BBG) this past weekend. While it was indeed unseasonably hot, we were swamped and had a great festival and a fun time. Met alot of Yokodana’s old friends, fans and members, and met even more of you FTF whom we had not met in person — always a treat for us. A shout-out also to our growing Otaku ‘fans’, we love your energy and playfulness. Hope to see you at Otakon.

BBG is SO beautiful, and our location was perfect, ensconced as we were in the Magnolia Plaza. We were also impressed with the high quality of all the many cultural events that BBG has at their Sakura Matsuri, really a class act and we’re proud to be a part of the event.

We’re still resting and slowly catching up with things, and hope to resume fabric updates on the site soon. Our next venue is Saturday, May 22, 2010, in Washington DC, near the Capitol Building, at the Asian Heritage Foundation Festival. Details here a bit later.

FWIW TECH STUFF: Dana is playing with a new more visual look for the home page. Please take a look and if you have any critiques or suggestions (+ or – ), please send to Dana at:
