Fabric Description: This dark purple color piece is a type of thick, sponge-like fabric that is heavily tie-dyed and compressed so that fabric can stretch considerably; Designs on both sides; Originally fabric intended for making an obiage, a type of sash for wearing woman's kimono; the motif is a stylized traditional bamboo theme.
