Fabric History/Pedigree: 1990s pieces derived from deadstock roll of Japanese silk (Deadstock means old inventory which is like new but has been in storage, never been used.)

Fabric Description: lightweight fabric originally used to make woman's under-kimono (nagajuban) or kimono liner; full sheen, excellent drape, good for making scarf, accessories or for textile art dyeing; high-grade Japanese silk; interwoven classic designs throughout, including: Wisteria, flowers, and speckled fields, lightly textured to the touch (due to weave) as background throughout the fabric; designs same on both sides but one side has brighter sheen than the other.

Colors: Background is very light pale white and pink; there are subtle shifts in gradation sort of way across the design; Please note that colors differ on different devices, so please use our text to complement your sense of the fabric's coloration.

Condition: Excellent.
