Fabric History/Pedigree: Deadstock pieces from partial roll, 1980s print silk.

Fabric Description: The fabric is lightweight kimono silk, slightly translucent, originally intended for making a younger woman's kimono (springtime); the background is a solid dark peach, sort of orange color filled with classic designs cascading the full length, (retro, pre-1960s) including the following: Country villas, wooden bridge, flower cart like dais, clouds(aqua-blue and white), small ponds (in pixels), and easily a dozen different types of flowers seen in older kimono fabrics from 1950s and earlier; also, old-style bamboo fence, pine trees (all these are stylized in a familiar classic fashion, using patterns and designs common pre-1960s); Colors used in designs run the full spectrum with brighter colors dominating; Print on one side, but somewhat visible on reverse;
