Fabric History/Provenance: Pieces derived from deadstock 1980's kimono silk roll.

Fabric Description: This is lightweight silk originally for use in making a kimono, minimal translucence; the fabric is a soft &  mostly pastel hues of blue to white (gradation colors) background sort of a bokashi effect(flow of gradual color transition), Motif is interwoven streams cascading the full length of the fabric, including interwoven flowers and other leaves - all as background; foreground is a few floating leaves, some of which are fringed in golden colored metallic thread (brocade or applique?); intended as viewed on one side but is same on reverse except that the golden-trimmed leaves do not show on back; good sheen, soft, nice drape.
